  • Ms. Ying Ma completed her Final Year Project under the supervision of Tianwei Deng in 2023 and won the Outstanding Undergraduate’s Thesis Award of SYSU. Then, she obtained her master’s degree in 2026 (from Sun Yat-sen University). She also received the Outstanding Master’s Thesis Award of SYSU and subsequently joined Insta360.
  • Ms. Yating Guo completed her Final Year Project under the supervision of Tianwei Deng in 2022 and won the Outstanding Undergraduate’s Thesis Award of SYSU. Then, she obtained her master’s degree in 2025 (from Sun Yat-sen University). She also received the FLASH Best Paper Award of IWS 2023 conference and the Outstanding Graduate Student of SYSU, and subsequently joined Insta360.
  • Mr. Yue Lin obtained his master’s degree in 2025 and joined BYD.
  • Mr. Xiangnan He obtained his master’s degree in 2025 and joined SiCarrier.
  • Mr. Qiaolin Yan completed his Final Year Project in 2021 and then obtained his master’s degree in 2024 all under the supervision of Tianwei Deng， and joined HuaDa Microwave Tech.
  • Mr. Jiongpei Xu completed his Final Year Project in 2021 and then obtained his master’s degree in 2024 all under the supervision of Tianwei Deng. He is an co-recipient of the FLASH Best Paper Award of IWS 2023 conference, and subsequently joined Huawei Technologies.
  • Mr. Bingkui Hu obtained his master’s degree in 2024 and was shortlisted of the Best Student Paper Award in the APCAP 2013 conference, and subsequently joined Huawei Technologies.

  • Mr. Weicong Sun completed his Final Year Project under the supervision of Tianwei Deng in 2026 and won the Outstanding Undergraduate’s Thesis Award of SYSU, and went on to pursue his Master’s degree in SYSU.
  • Ms. Yingxue Mo completed her Final Year Project under the supervision of Tianwei Deng in 2024 and won the Outstanding Undergraduate’s Thesis Award of SYSU, and joined the City University of Hong Kong to pursue her PhD’s degree.
  • Ms. Shuyu Chen completed her Final Year Project under the supervision of Tianwei Deng in 2024, and joined the University of California, Los Angeles in USA to pursue her master’s degree.
  • Mr. Yilun Zhuang completed his Final Year Project under the co-supervision of Tianwei Deng in 2023 and won the Outstanding Undergraduate’s Thesis Award of SYSU, and went on to pursue his PhD’s degree in SYSU.
  • Ms. Minyi Lin completed her Final Year Project under the supervision of Tianwei Deng in 2022, and joined the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to pursue her master’s degree.
  • Mr. Zelong Qiu completed his Final Year Project under the supervision of Tianwei Deng in 2021 and won the Outstanding Undergraduate’s Thesis Award of SYSU, and joined the University of Southampton in UK to pursue his master’s degree.
